Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation that guides you through brain waves associated with sleep while conscious. This powerful practice plants a seed of intention at the subtlest levels of the mind, so we can consciously steer our life in the direction we want to go, rather than where our habits tend to take us. Coming to this place of deep rest has a myriad of benefits for our everyday lives. It is commonly used to help ease stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, habits, addiction, PTSD and trauma. All you need to do is lie back and receive the ancient wisdom. There is nothing that you can do wrong. This practice thrives on letting go of looking for something to happen. Just to be you, as you are right now, in a space where the entirety of you is welcomed. "The unconscious often knows things we don't, things that in the broad daylight of consciousness remain invisible to us, just as the stars play to an empty house during the day when the sun is shining. Some things can only be seen when it's dark." - Gregg Levoy.

Ceremonial cacao is different from the normal cocoa you find in the supermarket. It is a pure cacao-bean paste and is considered a gentle psychoactive plant that can assist us on our healing journey. Cacao is a rich source of mood-elevating compounds like anandamide, serotonin and theobromine. Theobromine is a cousin of caffeine, but rather than affecting the nervous system and causing potential jitters, it works on the cardiovascular system and increases blood flow to the heart and the brain to help open the doors to our heart-centred emotions. I use cacao as a tool to pair with other practices like sharing circles, yoga and yoga nidra to support healing and transformation. Cacao helps us become more aware of our heart-centred desires, which is the alchemy of spiritual transformation.
